Farmers, I need some feedback!

A while back I shared the online marketplace I’m building to connect farmers and customers in the Austin area. The response was super positive — but almost all of it came from farmers outside of Austin.

But before I go any further…let me introduce myself a little, they say it builds trust, and I know trust goes a long way with farmers. My name is Eunice, and I grew up on a farm in Texas but now live in Austin. I’m a wife and mother to 3 beautiful kids, the youngest two are 1yr old twins. So no, I’m not some tech guy. I built AcreRoot because I struggled to get local farm fresh food for my family without going to a farmers market, but that wasn’t something I could do every single weekend and I couldn’t drive all over to individual farms. So I built an online community marketplace, a place where farms can share their stories and post updates, and customers can follow them and buy directly online. But now I’m working on bridging the convenience gap even more.

So I’m trying to understand something:

If I built a curbside pickup hub in Austin where customers could preorder your products online, and all you had to do was drop off your weekly orders once a week…

Would you be open to making that drive?

I would handle customer pickups, curate each order, and manage the logistics so you only have one drop-off stop.

I’m trying to gauge how much interest there would be from farmers who aren’t local to Austin. Honest feedback is really helpful.
